All you need to do is to have the latest version of the app and add a debit card to your account. After all is set up, sending money requires you to open a chat and tap on the dollar ($) sign icon. Enter the amount of money you would like to send and then tap pay. If a friend sends you money and you have not set up your account, you will be prompted to add a debit card. Facebook Messenger offers industry leading security and pin based protection; your funds are safe.
